Resources

I hope the following might be of use to people…

Links & further reading: since giving my first talk online in April 2020 I’ve always tried to follow my talks up with a page of notes on the sources I used, further reading and other resources online for anyone wanting to take their interest in the topics I cover further. There’s quite a lot of these now so I thought I’d gather them together on a single page, which you’ll find here.

Please note: the links to Amazon on the ‘links and further reading’ pages are ‘associate links’. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Virtual Nile Cruise: this was another of my lockdown projects for which I posted a series of photos from Egypt, one archaeological site per day, with descriptions and little nuggets of info. By the end I’d posted hundreds of photos from around eighty sites. Altogether, the photos and captions seemed to me quite a useful resource – if nothing else it meant I had somewhere I could quickly find my best photos of this or that site! – and so I decided to collect everything together here. At present I have only uploaded the photos from the first few sites but I’m making the pages available straight away to see what response I get, and I’ll be posting more and more as and when I find the time.
